Thanksgiving pies - get your orders in by Monday 11/23

High 5 Pie

If you're looking to outsource your pie-making, two local business are offering special Thanksgiving pies.  Molly Moon's offers $15 Pumpkin Ice Cream Pies (pumpkin clove ice cream swirled into a graham cracker crust.).  You can either grab one from the freezer or call in an advance order at 206-547-5105.  Another local business Dani Cone(of Fuel Coffee fame)'s  High 5 Pies is offering Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, or Caramel Pecan 7" deep-dish pies for $12.  Contact Dani (dani at high5pie dot com) or order at one of Fuel's three locations.  Note that High 5 is offering a gluten free version of these pies.  Both Molly Moon & High 5 require that you order by close of business on Monday 11/23 - if you expect them to be ready for Thanksgiving Dinner.  As our commenters point out below, you can also be charitable in securing pie.  Lifelong Aids Alliance sells pies through Project Pie and their $25 pies are available for pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday at their 1002 East Seneca Street offices.

Thanks Kelli - just checked and 11/16 was the last day to order pies in time for the holidays. But pies are still available for pickup.

RE: ... free ads? how pumpkin we are ...
I prefer Kelli's approach, Mike. Lots of ways to support your community. Oh, and you can buy pie at QFC and probably Domino's too. You can't buy pie at Taco Time because they're closed and don't serve pie.

... all downhill since ...
My granny died some years ago - all downhill since then for pie eating.

BUT, if I were to buy any, it would be to support a charity, Lifelong's Pie Project. (noted above)

Happy Pie Eating to All

And anything Heather makes is going to be good. I don't have the details -- just saw a sign on the door from a distance.

Baklava?
Forget pie. Last day to order baked goods from Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption's Holiday Fest is today 11/20!

Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption's Holiday Fest

They're a CHS sponsor -- and also part of the community. Happy baklava!

North Hill Bakery
North Hill Bakery on 15th is taking orders for holiday pies. They offer several (apple, mince, chocolate), but I must say that their pumpkin pie is the best in town, and beautifully garnished.

Bluebird has pies + U can order through Wednesday
Got this note from Josh from Bluebird:
I wanted to let you know that Bluebird also has been
accepting Thanksgiving orders for Ice Cream Pies. Customers can choose
from any ice cream flavor on our menu (though we are featuring
pumpkin, apple pie, and triple berry.) The pies are 8" and come in a
graham cracker crust for $15. Orders can be called in, emailed, or
ordered in person at the shop, through Wednesday. A pickup time will
be scheduled at that time.
