A global health and beauty company is interested in understanding the lives of young people who enjoy motivating others to act.

We are currently looking for people ages 20-27 in the Seattle area from December 8th-10th to understand their response to a new web-based platform. Compensation for participation is $100 for two hours.

How it Works:

Focus Group
You’ll be part of a group of approximately ten participants who will be offering their opinions about a new web-based platform. A small team of researchers will show you a series of website mock-ups. They will ask you to review the platform, and will request that you talk aloud about your various thoughts, impressions, and reactions to the mock-ups. They will document the entire process with a video camera, written notes, and a still camera. Afterward, they will want to briefly review the process and have a discussion with you about things like your social networks and how you define personal success.

Interview
You’ll be the subject of an individual interview about a new online platform. Two researchers will show you a series of website mock-ups that are the basis of a new web-based platform. They will ask you to review the platform, and will ask you questions about your thoughts, impressions, and reactions to the mock-ups. They will document the entire process with a video camera, written notes, and a still camera. Afterward, they will want to briefly review the process and have a discussion with you about things like your social networks and how you define personal success.

You will be compensated $100 for either the two-hour focus group or two-hour individual interview, and will be required to sign a release granting our research group sole rights to the images, sounds and any notes we collect during this process.

We’re looking for people who will be comfortable with this kind of research, and are willing to openly share their thoughts and routines without censoring themselves.
