Outstanding host families needed!


Join us in cultural exchange with international students while they study English at our school in the U-District! We are looking for families that represent the diversity of the Northwest (including all ages and family sizes!) who are enthusiastic about sharing their daily lives with international students.

Our basic requirements:

Provide a furnished single room with a bed, desk and closet
Provide 2 meals per day (breakfast and sit-down dinner)
Help improve students' language skills through conversation
Live within "40-45 MINUTES" of school by PUBLIC transportation (*We’re especially looking for hosts able to accommodate students’ special requests, including: smoking outside the home, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, no pork, etc.), no pets (due to student allergies or religious restrictions). If your home is within ONE HOUR of our school and you can meet some of these special requests, we’d love to hear from you!)

We will provide:

access to full-time staff to help with student issues
training in best practices for hosting
paid weekly compensation
