I am searching for a small, cozy place to call home as I begin a new job in Seattle. I prefer a 1 bedroom, studio, or mother-in-law apartment in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood close to water, parks and walking trails.

I am a quiet, respectful, responsible nonsmoker, an immaculate housekeeper, and an experienced landscaper/gardener. I would like a little space for a vegetable garden, and can help with yours.

I have worked and lived in Denver and Durango, Colorado, and would be happy to provide contact information for previous employers and landlords.

Hey there! I'm a seamstress, reupholster-er and a woodworker and am looking to move my workspace from my home and into a shared artist-like work studio space. I'd use the space a few times a month. I don't have a lot of tools and need minimal storage space. I sand sometimes, so there is a possibility for saw dust type messes (which will be promptly cleaned up). Contact me if you're interested in sharing your space or if you'd like to chip in to rent a space together.

Hello!

I'm a hair stylist who's been working on the Hill for several years, and have amassed a clientele large enough that I no longer need to work in a salon. For the past 6 years I've worked in private studios, and the one I currently rent will no longer be available after April, or possibly sooner.

I prefer to share space with other visual artists/craftspeople such as painters, sculptors, apparel designers, bike mechanics, you name it. I enjoy the symbiotic relationship that forms when my clients (all truly great people!) end up commissioning and/or buying artwork, and when I acquire new clients as a result of the people who associate with my studio-mates.

I currently pay $600, but rent out part of my studio to a painter. We would like to move together, but if not, then I could only pay $400 + utils.

The requirements that I have are following:
-- natural light from windows or skylights
-- access to running water (I have a portable hair-washing set-up)
-- on Capitol Hill

I don't advertise or need any signage.
