Hi!
I am a step-partner and although it's often great, there are some challenges and difficulties that come along with it. I would love to find some other step-parents/partners on Capitol Hill who would be interested in a monthly meet-up. It would be great to have a group of people in the same boat who are able to understand these challenges, can help support each other and come up with positive solutions. Also, those who like to have a beer. Or not. Whatever. Oh, and by support group I mean going out for a beer and venting. That's pretty much what I mean. Maybe someday it could turn into something a bit more sophisticated, but for now, that sounds good to me. Me: I am a well seasoned Musician looking for other Musicians to play with. I write music and play Guitar in one band already, but I want to get back into playing Drums again. It's been a while. Though, I do know I have a good sense of dynamics, rhythm, and drums are an instrument I am passionate about. So if I can get down with the music, the rest will come naturally. I have my own kit, but no vehicle or any driving experience to speak of. (I drove my family's ice cream truck a couple times when I was a kid, but that's it!) We can play at my house!, I have: drums, and both guitar and bass amps + PA. What say you?

My partnr and I are in a 13 year relationship. Since he is not from this contry he is visa is about to expire and he would have to go back. We haven't been able to find a way for him to stay permanently. We need someone to help us please! with a work visa or some other way.
