UPDATE: One minute after photo taken it was revealed that the plywood was prophylactic and that the glass is whole. If only Chase would learn to board up its windows every night...
This is how much people are avoiding peak tolls on Eastbound 520. Looks like my bus commute just got a lot smoother.

Motorcycle vs car collision just happened. motorcycle rider is on the ground and emergency crew are on the scene. E John East bound lane is closed off.

I don't know the details, but the front of the police car was smashed, and the side of the non-police car, so it appears that the police car ran into the non-police car. I'm not sure who had right of way, so I don't know who's at fault, but I am impressed by SPD's continued ability to bust up its cars.
ATMs are down. Went to two other banks their ATMs aren't working either. Word is all "networks" are down for the last hour and a half. Hope y'all have cash.
Power just went out at E Denny & Boylston. Both my building, The Maxwell, and Mezzo across the street are out for sure. Sounds like a few blocks. Lots of fire trucks. Don't really know what happened. If you need me I'll be playing Katamari on my iPhone. :)
Just witnessed 5 officers arrest an African American male at Cal Anderson Park with unnecessary force.
Ford Truck vs Vespa in front on the Liquor Store in 12th Ave. Fortunately from eye witnesses the Vespa rider escaped with minor injuries and was taken to Harborview. The Women driver of the Ford was obviously ratteled and was in shock..... She was driving out of the Liquor Store parking garage......

Looks like a cop car took a beating
Man removing current posters. "if they want to see this they can go to pike and pine."
Whose 3 chickens (roosters?) did I pass on the sidewalk while running on 10th Ave E by St Marks? Anyone? Maybe @jseattle can help? They were definitely loose and I'm no expert on catching poultry...

One of the gathered crowd whose been here for a while says he's likely drugged up and confused. Medic one just arrived. They've put a yellow tarp over him, but oddly it's open at the front so doesn't cover anything. It appears that none of his clothes are anywhere around
Woke up to see my sideview mirror kicked off. Several cars suffered the same fate very early on 2/16. This happened between Terry and boren on spring st. The person(s) responsible also ripped out a large sign next to a nearby condo.

Police in riot gear for protest on capitol hill
http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/voracious/2011/02/sam_verhove. -was sent this link by a friend in new York. He asked me to verify if it was a hoax. I went to Grims tonight, and the bar staff told me that, Peter O'Toole will, indeed be giving a reading there tonight during happy hour. I hope this is legit as much as Im sure you all do. Cheers!
